Ahoy,

after a long time without a new binary I was finally able to build a stable one again :)

I'll let you participate at the xvid-link in my signature ;)

Changelog:

XviD-30062002-1:
- Compiled with intel compilers (all the time version 6 ;) ) & optimzations.
- new lumamasking algorithm.
- EPSZ(^2) Motion Estimation activated.
- Updated to Nic's new minicalc and his more recent DShow filter.

Regards,
Koepi

Koepi this is the best yet!
I did some test with my usual clip samples and also tested it for VideoCapture and I can see a difference from the last build I was using. No settings changed just using the this new build.
With the better the quality (more detail) the filesize seems alittle bigger than before.

Thank you and I look forward to the day when XviD is done.
Hope this thing with Sigma turns out to be a good thing!

EDIT: the size seems fine, was just scenes I was testing

Koepi stated that he used the more recent DSF from NIC for this compile. As I remember NIC saying that he is working on the green frame bug, this problem seems not to be fixed so far, because it still apears on my XP machine.
Hm, rethinking it you should perhaps conserve it, yes, I think you should enhance it to a green frame fading out within the next 10 frames.
I consider it as a very charming bug that indicates the video code the movie has been made with at the beginning. Frankly it has no real purpose for me, because I use to encode with XVid exclusively anyway...
