This drive is locked as region 2 at the moment.
I ran driveinfo and it said that the drive had firmware 0005, so I went to www.firmware.fr.st and they have a hacked region free 0008 firmware and a link to the official 0008 firmware.
So I should flash to the official 0008 and then flash to the hacked 0008 right?
I ran the exe for the official firmware and it came up with a DOS window saying there was no GD-7500 model detected. It says in the guide that I should boot to DOS; how do I do this using Win 2k Pro?
Should I try flashing straight to the hacked 0008 firmware?
Help would be very much appreciated.
