i don't get any red boxes, the bits/pixel are also ok. it isn't the resize filter either, it must be something weird.
i use to disable the proxy server (i think that's the name) when i need to delete the movie files after i put them on cd (if i don't do that the explorer tell's me that the files are being used at the moment by some other app or user (and that is under Win Xp)
Do i have to reboot the comp after i enable the proxy?

Are you muxing your audio in GKnot or are you doing it after GKnot is done? If it is the latter then you are getting this error message because you are taking 2 AVI files and making one. Every AVI has 8192 bytes built into it which tells the file that it is an AVI. After joining your credits and your movie, you will have one file instead of two and it will be 8192 bytes smaller. Therefore you get the message about your Final Size being smaller than the intermediate files.

Hope this helps...

If it were i would allways get it, but i haven't it only began recently, (the last 10-20 movies or so).
In the beggining i didn't get that message, that's the strangest thing.

you see i had divx3 installed, then i installed divx4 and said "no" when the prog asked if i wanted to do all divx3 stuff with divx4, (or something like that) i've uninstalled divx4 but i still get the same sh**. i'll try reformating if the reinstall doesn't work :-( which is always a pain in the butt.

tnks.
