amelie sub1 divx help required please ??

i just downloaded ameliesub1.00.avi from the internet
It just plays sound with black screen.
I have divx 3 and divx 5 installed.....just this film and 'the others' have given me this problem.
Have tried
zoom player
windows media player
ati file player
real player

all with same result.......anyone know a codec or a cure??

Sometimes, setting your display adapter color depth to 32-bit will correct this. :o

Check Bright, Contrast, Saturation settings in DivX Codec in properties.

found the problem...it was encoded with divx 5.02
I had divx 5 codecs installed and
assumed 5.02 was a bugfix only

i have installed v5.02 and all works well!
