What is the reason for me to update from version 1.65 to 1.80? Will it do me any good?

I also have a A03 and I have updated my firmware to 1.80. There are pervious posts on the benefits of the new firmware update, just do a key word search. But for me it has expanded the DVD-R brands I can write at 2x and according to news releases from Pioneer it helps the drive write more accurately to all brands.
