View Full Version : Bug in BeSweet? No LFE without '-L'

Dear DSPguru,

in your BeSweet documentation (the part about azid.dll) is written:

-L LRLFE_LEVEL
----------------

Default: 1.0 (or 0db)

This controls the downmix-level of the LFE channel into the LR channels.

This means: When '-L' is omitted, then the LFE is mixed with 0db into the L and R channels, right?

But with BeSweet 1.4b12 I had to find out that this is not true: Without '-L' (but with '-s surround2'), there is no LFE in the resulting audio. You can clearly check this with the usual AC3TEST file. Now where is the bug, in BeSweet or in the documentation?!...

Current workaround: Always add '-L #' to the Azid parameters!
