Hello,
although the question is some off topic, I have not found any answer to this problem anywhere, perhaps the forum global knowledge ...
I have a DVD (for info Caribe 2002 Corazon Latino) with music clips.
In my standalone player I see some 20 clips, no problem. Then I try
to get those to SVCD.
I try to see the authoring of the DVD. With PowerDVD I see there are some 30 chapters. There is an ifo and a vob per music clip. I can play with PowerDVD chapters 6 through 12 (that correspond to vobs 6-12, and clips 1-7). If I select chapter 13-25, playing goes to the start screen.
Then try DVD2SVCD, it is only able to see vobs 6-12.
Tried other rippers, just the same.
Tried MS explorer ... ala! I can only see in the DVD directory vobs, ifo and subs 6 till 12 plus ifo of 13 (but no vob nor bup)!!
My DVD-ROM is Toshiba SD-M1502 ver 001 with firmware patch RPC-1 1012 from DoctorB (RPC-1 but with 2x rip limit in CSS DVDs :angry: )
OS:W98SE
Could be related to a bug in the DVD-ROM, the file-system manager, the OS, ...
I have checked in places related to OS, DVD-ROM, ... not found any hint ... (have not been able to figure a good search string for this either).
Any help greatly appreciated.
