View Full Version : Replacement for bbMPEG?

I cannot get past the muxing and cutting stage in the SVCD creation. I get the "no user data at I frame xxxxx of xxxx..." error message, and I am hosed. Is there any other way to finish the process? I really like this utility, but it is useless to me b/c I cannot get around this problem. Is there perhaps another utility that can replace bbMPEG? Is it possible that an older version will work? Where can I get an older version to try? BTW, I am running an Athlon XP1600+ on WinXP home.

Do you have TmpgEnc encoded material? Does there exist "artificial black" in the stream? That is to say solid black rendered from an editing program without any noise (like fade to black-effect)

Besides BBmpeg you have the option:
A:
1) mux A/V in bbtools, tmpgenc or pulldown.exe
2) Do a conversion mpg to mps with the program "mpgxmps.exe"
3) Import into I-Author
4) Author it.

B:
1) A1 (above)
2) Let Nero author it with the svcd template.

C:
1) A1
2) Ulead Video Studio 6 (get a trial)
(I've heard it makes good svcds)

D:
1) A1
2) VcdImager to author
3) Daemon tools and nero disk copy to burn.

Probably lots more ... but should be enough for a while
