Yup. I am getting a value of 1.448 trying to encode an NTSC Interlaced movie with Divx 5. Using Neutral Bicubic and IVTC. Is this correct or Am I doing something wrong. Its just that i have never seen a value greater than 1 b4.

Just wanted to say that beacuse of this. Even to get 40% value (of compressibility)I have to decrease resolution to 288 x 224 :(

Yes, the bit per pixel value can easily go over 1 if you have a very 'difficult' movie.
Only solution I've found is to use more CD's :cool:
