Hi,
I just encoded another movie into .ogm using a 5.1 and a 2.0 dolby ogg. But when I play the .ogm in BSPlayer i cannot hear the talking in the 5.1 and using the 2.0 track makes the video go way too fast.
What is the problem?
I tried reencoding the 2.0 with normal gain; didn't help.
using besweet b12 and oggmachine 0.46
thanks very much in advance, M

ok...just checked; when i do not include the 5.1 the 2.0 works fine. :-/
ok, just using the 5.1 gives me no sound on the front as it seems.

About the 5.1 i read in a past post that this is problem about the decoder(OggDS), but when the next version come the problem will be gone.

So I can stick with the file as i built it and it will work at some point?

Everytime I read "will be fixed with next release" when a bug in oggds is found, like 5.1, post-gain....

BUT WHEN WILL THERE BE A NEW RELEASE!?!?!?!?

ok,i checked on irc. They told me that the problem is ogg itself which does not do channel coupling too well. Do you guys have any suggestion what to used insted off ogg, which i had been impressed of so far, for 5.1?

The original ac3, and iirc aac. Though aac would require you to make a mp4 file that needs a special player. :(
