Hi there,

this question comes from preacH whom I met on #doom9 (IRC) - he couldn't post himself because he has to wait for his account (three days, ...)

------------

<preacH> I have ripped a mexican dvd with dvd2svcd and the program crashed because it ran out of space on the bin creation. For some reason the subtitles are not showing up even though i ripped them and the video files say 'bbmpeg-subbed0.mpg
My question is: is there any way that i can just redo the subtitle implimentation and the bin creation.
or do i have to do it all over again
thank you

------------

Regards, fileman.

Hi fileman and preacH,

what can I say, hmm, pretty little info to start with, if you can't see any subs, it depends what kind of subs you did choose (SVCD, CVD, Permanent) - SVCD and CVD style subs cannot be displayed by any software player yet - only standalones can display them and usually you have to test it out which style they can handle.

With the image file creation you can do a "Recover" from within the "Misc." tab after having cleaned up your harddrive. But, all this is already covered in various guides and threads in here - guess what, therefore we "invented" the "chewing period" for users to wait and give them time to read and try on their own and not to flood the forum with his kind of questions. ;)

So make sure to read a little on your own (this goes to preacH) and try to search the forums if you still have problems with it.

Hope this helps,
Gerti
