Using DVD2SVCD together with CCE 2.64 ;-)

Hi,
for many people it would be interesting if they can use a newer version of CCE (par example P4 useres).

The problem why DVD2SVCD can't work together with CCE 2.62/64 is that CCE 2.62 can't work together with AVIsynth (hope this is the only point).

Yesterday I searched some frameservers for Premiere. So I found this page:

Currently my program is designed in such a way that it adds support for Avisynth, Virtualdub frame server files and AVI files with and without compressed audio. So this tools enables you to e.g. read Avisynth files in any program that reads AVI files (Like Premiere, CCE SP, Ulead Media Studio Pro)


This is interesting, isn't it? ;-)

The only (-)-Point for this program is, that the programmer wants a small donate for it, but maybe he'll work together with the DVD2SVCD project...

you can use every version of cce with dvd2svcd...

just check safe mode in the frameserver tab...


the new tool of www.videotools.net is called link2...
also you can use this with dvd2svcd and any version of cce just put the name of the link2 .exe in the vfapi line in the frameserver tab..

btw:if you use vfapi frameserving it will be slow
if you use link2 you will get the same speed like avisynth..

theres a a bug with mpeg-stills and link2

I haven't seen the program link2 but it is interesting, too.

I used Premiere Video Server Plugin v0.93 and in my tests I couldn't find any bugs.

Link2 is only Shareware, can be problematic...
What exact is the bug with the "mpeg-stills"? Is there a work around?

i think link2 is very interesting...
sure shareware...;)

the bug with the mprg-stills are reported by some guys here on the board(i had it too)as far as i know link2 simply can`t handle still pictures...so dvd2svcd crashes when converting the title-change pic...

but surley it will be fixed by edwin or someone else...

In other words I only need to disable the still picture or encode it over the old way one time and use this one in future..
