Hey, this is my first post in this forum. After carefull reading the forum an the Q&A I still hav this question.

In aim trying to rip Starwars, The Phantom Menace.

I want permanent subtitles in the mopvie so I checked the box in DVD2SVCD. Afterwards i Checked the postion of the subtitle in the movie using preview.

When trying to rip the movie after analyzing the subtitles and just befor the Subtitle Color&Selection Screen the program crashed. Sometimes I got an Access violation message but i have got also the message Not a valid bitmap.

I have tried also other movies, no problems there.

I am using DVD2SVCD 1.0.9b02

Can anybody help???

Log file is almost empty just the start of the rip is mentioned. After te crash the log file is not updated.

The process stops just aftyer it found the streams for the subtitles en just befor displaying the subtitles Color&Selection Screen.

I think it crashes while building this screen.

:D There is another program rather than DVD2SVCD, that's "Burn DVD to VCD/SVCD/Avi(DivX) in CD-R/RW", it's easy to use and powerful, if you have interest you can give it a try, you can download it from the Free Download Area of www.jummpa.com
