Following the guide, under 'bitrate' tap, setting 0 - 45 mins, 1 CD, then 45 - 90 mins, 1 CD, (for a 87 min. movie) but the final SVCD is all on 1 cd. Have tried using both VCDxBuild and VCD Imager to create the images but the same result. Have also tried 0 - 90 mins, 2 CDs, but the result was the same quality as the whole movie on one disk, but spread over 2 disks.
Any Ideas?

Athlon XP 1700+

You have to put the whole number of cds you want.
so if the movie is 87 min. and you want 2 cds you have to put 2
bye.

@ChanelK
I think you have misunderstood the meaning of the bitrate-tab.
DVD2SVD tests how long the movie is. (actualy not from the IFO, because it's not always correct, but later with CCE). If it knows the exact duration, it takes the line from the bitrate-tab with the lengts of the movie in it. In your case the movie was 87 min, so it takes the line with 45-90 min. In this line you put the number '1'. So it tries to fit the whole movie on one CD. You get only one CD, and this was correct with your settings.
It doesn't take 1 CD for min. 0-45 and another one for min 46-87, it only looks at the single line with the duration of the whole movie in it.
If you want max. 45 min on one CD, you have to set the tab:
0-45 1CD
45-90 2CD
90-135 3CD
135-180 4CD
If you have a movie with 120 min., D2S chose the third line and put your whole movie to 3 CDs, which gives you ~40min per disk.
Hope this explanation was clearly enough.
