Capturing IMAGE of video clip not working. Why?

Hi,

I am using the SnagIt Screen Capture tool, but whenever I try to capture a video file running in WMP, the capture is a black box where the video was. How can I get this to work? Is there a better utility, or does it maybe have to do with codecs or something?

I downloaded this vid off a website that had a thumbnail for it, so somehow they were able to capture it.

Any ideas?

I suggest you delete this thread and save yourself the blamage (in your first post in this thread, click on the edit button, then tick the "delete" box, then click on delete on the right)

Sorry, please disregard what I said. I thought you were trying to get me in trouble instead of helping, but you did help me in the other post. My bad, and thanks for the help. I can't delete it though, I don't know why! :-(
