My DVD player will only play VCD disks, Can I change settings in your program to get it to encode at a lower res, right now, I encode at the SVCD res and then re-encode with nero. Which adds and hour to my total time. Also, I can't use your internal ripper cause I get a Auth Call error when it scans the cd and the program crashes, is there a way to fix this, cause when bbmpeg multiplexes my video after ripping from smart ripper and encoding the audio is good, but the video is choppy and skips frames, so I have to multiplex the mpv and mp2 files with tmpeg to get it to work, which also adds another half hour to my total time.

Im am running and amd 1700+ with an aopen AK77-333 MB and 256 mb ddr mem.

I know this is a loaded question and any help woul be greatly appreciated,
thanx

Hello NateDawg1169,

welcome to the forum. :)

But I must admit this is the only smiley I can give you for that post.

Why that? - Start reading, please. All your questions could have easily been answered by yourself after reading the Q&A. You know the meaning of "Q&A" - yes, exactly, it's "Questions and Answers", 100 points to the candidate. And there's also a link in it to a guide that describes how to do a VCD with DVD2SVCD and TMPGEnc - whooohoo (thanx mrbass for that :)).

So you see, it's your turn now and you could have done your first VCD right now if reading the Q&A right before posting. ;)

So please start reading,
Gerti

P.S. Please consider my advice as you won't get away with that next time (means I have to give you a strike then).
