Hi

I am experiencing problems ripping audio from dvd's . I use flask mpeg and xmpeg and have a radium codec installed and functioning ok in control panel. In flask mpeg the audio parts of the program are greyed out, when i go into options on divx there is a list of audio codecs and i chose mp3 one. When i press FLASK! the box comes up again but with no audio codecs in it? I have reinstalled soundcard tna. Any ideas?? Athlon xp 1500 256ddr win xp. Ive reinstalled flask also.

Cheers
J

Remove all mp3 codecs and reinstall only radium codec. it worked for me

the lame acm should work good for this purpose. get 3.92 from mitiok's page (http://mitiok.cjb.net/).

though I should recommend you start learning about better programs than flask. Follow some of the simple guides on doom9's page and you'll be making better rips in no time!

Instead of re encoding the whole movie, i would just rip audio VBR using xmpeg. you can add it to the movie using one of the audio tools in download page. I think virtual dub can do it, or can it ?

oh btw pacohas is absolutely right. you gotta learn atleast virtual dub. its a must
