I been reading the FQA about audiosynch and how to correct the problem, I guess this happen before and somebody already answer to this question but I went back on the forum trying to find it before posting it. Without luck and with my eyes tired of looking for the answer I decided to post this question and let the fantastic people in this forum give me some advice.
I a newby using DVD2SVCD, I been able to do some backups without a problem and pretty much learned to love this program for the way it works. I download it like 35 days ago and the demo TMPGEnc was expired after coming back from vacations, so I went to get the new version TMPGEnc 2.5 and got me a key for $48 on the web site.
This is when my problems started, I get 3 images to burn and 2 are perfect with audio and video playing at the same time. time to check the last image #3 and the audio and video are outsync..... done the process already 4 times with 4 different DVD's and I get the same result all the time. Is there a way to sync the last image??
It's this even possible???
I wll appreciate some advice and info if people had the same problem,
and thanks to all the forum to take time to read this.

Hi ramutan,
welcome to the forum. :)
This is weird, can you go back to a older version of TMPGEnc and see if this solves the issue? I think the key you got must also be working with older versions.
Then try again - just a guess though as you never had problems when using the older version, or try a DVD with the new TMPGEnc version you did with the older version in the past and that played correctly.
Hope that helps,
Gerti
P.S. If this doesn't help please post your logs.

I went back to track the problem and check if it is related to the settings on DVD2SVCD, I'm using default settings that worked before my problem started. I try a new DVD yesterday to se the results that wher the same as before, image #1 and #2 where fine but #3 was really bad with the audio ahead 3 seconds.

I am not a specialist of NTSC encoding but :
1) I don't see anything strange.
2) Why did you recover from pulldown step ?
3) Always follow suggestions from Gerti67 :This is weird, can you go back to a older version of TMPGEnc and see if this solves the issue? I think the key you got must also be working with older versions.
Then try again - just a guess though as you never had problems when using the older version, or try a DVD with the new TMPGEnc version you did with the older version in the past and that played correctly.
4) Maybe try version 9b2 (or even 9B3), but if it worked for you in the past with 9b1, I don't think it will help.

I Started from pulldown again because I wanted to change some settings, but you know what happen already #1 and #2 good; #3 bad.
But this is what I did to see if the problem is related with the software running out (demo of TMPGEnc). What I did to prove it's not the new version I istalled DVD2SVCD 1.9 bunddle build 1 along with TMPGEnc 2.5 on my older machine:
Duron 800 Mhz
128 MB Ram
Windows 98 SE
20 GB hard drive 5400 rpm's
So I started yesterday with this new DVD (Star Wars episode 1) and after 15 hours I got the movie ready to go and went to test on my JVC XV-S500BK and the movie is fine, i got 3 discs and all of them are on sync. So I'm going to reformat my drive and see what happen, but first to scan my registry because I get the feeling that the demo may be the problem.
If anybody know's something please let me know.

Hmmm,
ok, like avdmb already said, I don't see anything alarming in the log - only thing is, the movie has 190296 frames and uses NTSC Film framerate of 23.976 FPS which would mean the movie is about 7936.94 seconds (190296 : 23.976). But when adding the single values from the muxed files I only get about 7930 seconds - so there are 6 seconds missing - because you are using a movie offset of "0" and an overlap of "0" this shouldn't be the case.
Like avdmb already suggested, I would really like you to grab the latest build 1.0.9 Build 3 from within this thread (down the page) and try it again:
http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=26981&pagenumber=3
If you don't want to do this again, what about muxing the MPV and the MP2 with TMPGEnc and then cutting it with its MPEG Tools into pieces. Then just rename them according to the files bbMPEG has created and recover from the "SVCD Authoring" step - this should do the trick - but sure you still get no clue what is causing this issue.
You could also try to use a movie offset of 2 as it's the default setting and can cure some async issues. Or avoid using the change cd pictures.
I also tend to believe this to be a muxing error with bbMPEG so you can try to post the "bbMPEG Movie SettingsX.ini" files or at least only the "[general]" paragraphs from within them (or zip them and attach them to the post.
It's weird,

 There is another program rather than DVD2SVCD, that's "Burn DVD to VCD/SVCD/Avi(DivX) in CD-R/RW", it's easy to use and powerful, if you have interest you can give it a try, you can download it from the Free Download Area of www.jummpa.com

@gunnimabi:
Ok, some people never learn, or at least only the hard way, again you broke forum rule #5 as you seem to only post sentences like this ("there's another tool...") in _ALL_ your posts.
So this is strike number 3 - say bye bye - come back later.

I format my drive with the hope that DVD2SVCD will work again, but the problem still there. I backup a new DVD yesterday and I got the same result, Disc # 3 out sync by almost 4 seconds.
Im using no DVD2SVCD 1.0.9 Biuld 3 with TMPGEnc 2.56, Movie offset second 2 like somebody suggested, CD overlap Sec 2, no tittle picture, no cd change picture, and all the other setting default.
Im about to start pulling my hair.....
By the way my Box is a XP, and the funny thing it's that I istalled the same software on my 2nd Box with 98SE and it work's fine!
