<EDITED, READ THE 2nd post FIRST.. >

Hi. There is a DVD of Hithikers Guide to the Galaxy in six TV episodes.

It is 4:3 and needed de-interlacing. I used sharpen 0.4 and Bicubic resize. (Log in this post). I ripped each episode one at a time and was going to stick one half hour episode per cd (as I couldn't think of another way of doing it, there is a corresponding .IFO for each .vob and no overall one)

Anyway....

After 4 minutes in CCE 2.5 it frooze and stayed that way until I came home from work and killed it off. I have an Abit KR7a133-Raid, AMD AthlonXP 1700+, 756Mb of PC2100 Memory, Creative GeForce4 ti4400, SB Audigy soundcard and a UDMA133 HDD for ripping to.

This is my first try with this beta. I have not had problems previuosly, apart from when I tried to use anti-noise on 51st State with the previous release and CCE freeked out, producing an .mpv far too quickly and then GPF'ing CCE. I didn't use anti-noise on this one.

I just reviewed the log file again and relised I had missed the fact that at the dvd2avi stage the path is incorrect and referring to a rip of Romeo must Die. I had ripped that before starting this one, but I had come completly out of D2S before starting the new rip and I came out each time between episodes. I had choosen the 'select a new folder to rip to' option and this is really weird ? Somehow the project file for this encode has got corrupted with the previous. I started the conversion from the batch file but Romeo Must Diw was REM'd out so I would just do the first 3 episodes of Hitchhikers in one batch.

I'm not blind, that thread has turned into a stupid debate about sound, so I thought I would make a clean report.

Obviuosly no one can help then.

This thread has turned in to a debate, when all you had to do is post in the thread that is all about problems with pre24...At this time all problem posts go in to the beta area if its a beta dvd2svcd that you are currently using, if not if you are using a none beta version all problem posts go in to the Basic Section not Advanced. Read this http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=19566
and this also http://forum.doom9.org/forum-rules.htm If you look at rule 9 and not skipped it you would know that you need to be more descriptive with your subject.
