Okay, I'm using DVD2AVI 1.76 and the slight problem is that I get a horizontal black lines. Is there anything I can do? I have follow the guild in http://www.doom9.org/mpg/dvd2avi.htm and I just don't want the black horizontal lines..
If there any chance i can remove it?

Black horizontal lines are typically interlace artifacts. Doom9 has many guides that discuss how to manage it. How you handle interlacing will depend on the dvd.

Interlaced content comes from three possible sources:[list=1] Shot with a video camera.
Film content that has been Telecined for video display will be partially interlaced, see www.doom9.org/synch.htm for a detailed description of the process.
Film content that had a non-standard transfer to DVD.
[/list=1] You can find hundreds, if not thousands, of threads here in Doom9's forum that discuss interlacing. Use the infamous search button at the top of your screen for more information and comments about it than you can imagine.

[EDIT]Hakko even has a sticky thread here in the dvd2avi forum on how the statistics window during preview can help analyze the dvd content.

Err Okay, I've search most of the threads and I get the idea but I only want one easy task... but none of the threads seem to help me.

All I want is to solve the problem of how to get interlaced off?!
I've ripped dvd and it's interlace...but I want to de-interlaced it?!
If I want to do that, I use vdub..right?

I assume there is/are de-interlacing filter(s) for vdub.

(I use dvd2avi with Gknot, so I use AviSynth filters instead, and won't be much help with vdub filters.)

There is a native de-interlace filter in VDub, but I recommend Don Graft's smart-deinterlacer. It will do a very good job on most sources. Don Graft's homepage (link). (http://sauron.mordor.net/dgraft)
