dvds with widescreen and fullscreen?

i have a dvd that i want to rip and it has both a widescreen and fullscreen version.when i pop in the dvd and start up dvd2svcd it picks the fullscreen version to rip.my question is how can i rip just the wide screen version?:D

on the conversion tab change the aspect ratio.

There will be multiple IFO files. There will be one for each version along with the smaller ones for the extra and other stuff. I have found that the slightly larger one tends to be the widescreen, but others have found the opposite to be true.

Mannually load the IFO in the conversion tab that precedes the largest group of VOBs.

Press Preview Movie and see if it looks widescreen or full screen. If it is not the one you want, load the IFO that precedes the other large group of VOBs. Hit Preview Movie. It should be the format of the one you want.
