I know this has been discussed before, but I couldn't find a thread. Has DVD2SVCD said when he plans to add DVD menus? I saw this guide here:
http://www.angelfire.com/anime3/airanime/guide/guide.html
but it's long and complicated, i want to try, but i don't have time to do it every time.
edit: Oops, meant to post this in the beginner forum.

I know this is bad etiquette, but my post got moved and i couldn't find it, it was at the bottom of the list. No replies, so I dunno if anyone read it. Any word?

To me it's fruitless. Already people are squeezing audio from 224 to 192 (I do) to get more video bitrate..and keeping movies down to either 2 or 3 cds. What's honestly wrong with have to press next/prev or 1,2,3,4,5,6,etc. for a chapter? I'd say if you want motion menus, etc. then simply go out and buy a dvd-r recorder..simple as that and you have 4.7GB to fiddle around with.

Haha.. well, guess I just have too much free time. You're right, it is kinda a lot to do for every dvd, its just that I figure if I'm going to take the time to make a good menu for a movie I might as well just use the originals instead of making all new chapter selection menus and etc etc etc. As for the space limit I just keep the menus to 60 mb and figure as though I'm using 74 min CDs instead of 80. At any rate, I'm insane so it matters less than it might in a far away land. The point is that with some programming skills it wont be too too difficult to implement I dont think but the problem is I still need to learn how to do that ¬.¬
Ooh by the way, I'm back. 27 pages of new posts to read too @.@
