View Full Version : CVD subs appear in audio stream 2

I have ripped two audio streams, Japanese and English, and ripped english subs. Audio stream 0 is japanese, but the english subs appear only for the english audio stream.

Any ideas?

The selection of the subtitle is independet from the selection of the Audio-Steam. At least with my player, I can change both of them with different keys on the remote. I think the problem is your player, not the SVCD. Try to play the disk e.g. at a friends player to check this.

It was the darn first subtitle in the first 4 seconds crap that had me thinking the subs weren't showing. By the time I switched the audio track from 1 to 2 the second subtitle came up. I manually edited the .sub file and remuxed with submux, but I don't think my player will play subtitles within the first few seconds of a movie.

What is odd though is when I play the same part of the original dvd (1st chapter) it shows the first sub fine.

I opted for permanent subs in the first chapter (its just the opening sequence/intro) and selected subs on the rest.
