Athlon 0.13 is here, but i didn't see anything about SSE2...

Does anyone knows what are planes about SSE2 support by AMD CPU-s ?

The first AMD chips to have support for SSE2 will be the Hammer chips released at the end of this year or the start of next year.

Yes, the "K8" chips. They will be based on the Athlon core but will be .13 micron and have SSE2 and alot of other good features (I think increased cache size as well)

Check out www.tomshardware.com or www.anandtech.com and read the Computech reports or search for "Hammer".
