What are the differences between the three "idct field operation" in dvd2avi (in the video tab)? Actually,which one is the best? Thanx for your help.

From personnal experience, whatever gains are made in picture quality by using higher quality iDCT algos is lost when converted to DivX or whatever codec tickles your fancy.

If you are really looking for quality, consider increasing your bitrate (and/or creating 2CD conversions).
