I am playing with a lot of different filter settings and I was wondering if it was necessary to reconstruct the .vaf file each time. If it really only contains information about the complexity of each frame, this should remain relatively similar on the same clip across different noise/smoother filter settings.
Anyone have any more specific comments? Should I be reproducing the .vaf file every time I tweak an AviSynth noise filter?
