Playing around trying to fit 90min onto 1 disc vor watching on my Apex ad-100w.
1)Should I have the aspect ratioo at 4:3 or 1:1?
2)What would be the best Pixel size?
3)interlace or non-interlace
4)what is the best motion picture search setting to use?

hmm, can't answer all, but here are some things i found doing exactly the same thing recently:

1) don't know

2) don't know

3) whatever your input is, definately deinterlace and try to get it to film frames per second (23.976fps). this will save on space AND will look much better. i have been able to do this even with completely wrong input streams (interlaced ntsc source) and not seen any wierd artifacts. your mileage may vary.

4) doom9 suggests normal, as does the maker of tmpg. if you use anything better, it gets very very slow, and if you use the fastest the resulting encode looks like poop. i haven't tried the autoadjustment selection. i generally go with doom9's suggestions, though the recent version is new enough to have not been tested by d9.

i think even with a very small pixel size, if you have enough rez left to discern whats going on in the movie you won't be able to fit all 90min on one cd. good luck.
