Hello guys, I got myself a new 2000+.

This with windows XP pro.
Now there are some probs.
1) When I want to play a divx (I installed 5.0.2 pro gain) in WMP8 it is jerky, the image "jumps", hard to explain. This problem is NOT there when I use Bsplayer.
2) The Other way around, when I want to play video encoded with MSMPEG4 V2, it only works in WMP8, when I do it in Bsplayer I get a gray screen without sound
3) Bsplayer wise, if I doubleclick a file to be opened in bsplayer, it doesn't load the file if another one is allready loaded.

Please help me out guys!

1. Do not use WMP 8!!! It's higly advised to use only one WMP - 6.4
The rest (7 and 8) is just crap!
2. Change player - try PowerDivx or ZoomPlayer.
3. Look at the point No 2

take care

owdy,

one of my mates had that grey screen problem in bsplayer with mpeg4 - fixed it by uninstalling/reinstalling divx 3.11. which admittedly didn't make sense to me but that fixed him up. worth a try i guess.

just in case u didn't know - wmp 6.4 is bundled with windows, search for "mplayer2.exe" is one way to start it ...

... but if u try zoomplayer i think you'll leave wmp well alone.

god wmp sux, lol.

I tried this too, but it didn't solve it...

So my problem remains...

Whenever I open something made with MSMPEG4 bsplayer gives me a gray screen... wassup?
