I download the latest version from here, then went to the web-site and got the dll's for my cpu (Athlon). Split the audio out of the .vob's with dvd2avi. Open the audio in HeadAC3he which correctly shows the length as being 57m 9s. Choose destination of 16-bit wav,2-pass, resample to 44.1 (destination is vcd). HeadAC3he says output file will be roughly 577meg. 4 minutes later I have a 290 meg file of length 28m 34s.
