I have encoded a ripped motion menu DVD with CCE .. I have then used the Mpeg tools that come with TMPGEnc to cut the file and create another one to be the main menu only ( the encoded file was containing all the motion menus of the dvd : main, chapters, extras ).. When trying to add it in dvdmaestro, it tells me that the media file is not supported..

Any clues on that ?

Note: the full encoded one works fine in dvdmaestro, but not the cutted one with tmpgenc mpeg tool

Thanx!

Is it definitely still an elementary stream (i.e.video only - audio is a separate file), with the file extension ".M2V" ?

I didn't really work the video m2v within TMPGEnc and redo all the encoding stuff.. I only loaded the MPEG Tool in the File menu and choose cut ... It cutted my video stream but renamed it as mpg.. I have choose Mpeg2 - Program VBR (something like that) but in only permits to add mpg, mpeg and mvp files.. I forced him to cut my m2v file and it accepted that. But it seems he cannot accept m2v file as output file.

Anyway, it's okay, I have read in couple of places that TMPGEnc have problems with cutting standard mpeg2 files.
