I apologise, nincollector - I inadvertantly deleted the whole thread instead of deleting a duplicated reply of mine!

I've done the next best thing to remedy this, by going backwards in my browser and copying and pasting the whole thread :eek: :

new to scenarist and encoding need help
i need to know whats settings to use to create a useable mpg for scenarist. i use the default setting in tmpeg and it rejects the files. any help would be appreciated..

you need de-multiplexed video and audio (seprate files)

scenarist only accepts mpv and m2v video files
and wav audio files

have tmpgenc make a video only file then an audio only file

try those, they should work
