I'm Trying to complete Starwars EP1 but am having trouble loading the AC3 into Maestro. I keep getting the error as stated in the title.

I'm using DVD2AVI to ripout the Audio. As is Doom9 guide.

Never had this problem before.

Hope you can help.

Hi,

reported here at least twice now, the search button would have solved your prob faster.

Don't rip the last chapter, it's a kind of copy protection where the last chapter is functioning as disruptive element. It's just a few empty frames with some silence (with different bitrate !) attached to it, sufficient enough to avoid importing the AC3 into any authoring application.

Well thx for the reply. I dont have the disk any more so is there a way round it?

I do have all the VOB on HDD, could I just use them via smartripper.

How can I move on? I have CCE'd my Video, do I need to do that again or just mess with the audio somehow?

Well I ripped the DVD without the last cell & this now gives me the audio less 20mins. I take it these 20mins missing are for the menus. From what I can work out is that the menus is at 192k & the film is at 448k, when you rip the film and audio you get both 192 & 448 in the same audio file, this is why Maestro cannot import it, correct?

I need the Menu audio as I’m trying to follow the CCE & IFOEdit guide. But all I can seem to get at the moment is all the video (Menu & Movie) but only the movie audio.

Has anyone completed Starwars EP1 using CCE & IFOEdit guide?
