how to manually fix the Auto-Crop?

Hi all,

gknot's auto crop doesnt always work that well, leaving an small black border (sometimes the studio intro takes the whole screen while the movie itself has small borders, horizontal as well as vertical ones)... how do i fix this, maintaining a "healthy" ratio/resolution?

Hi-

Do it manually. First use the pixel crop to crop left, right, top, bottom. Scroll around the movie to make sure the black bar size doesn't change from time to time. Then use either Smart Crop All, or Smart Crop Left-Right to give yourself perfect AR.

However, if you plan to IVTC or use SimpleResize, then you have to make sure that Left Crop plus Right Crop are multiples of 4.
