Hi there.
just wondering......when ripping svcds which I've done a cpl of dozen or so now, in the audio bitrate, the audio for the svcd is usually set at 192 or 224 bitrate, which I know is similar for vcd bitrates in order to be compliant.
Now when I encode the movies over 2 discs, I tend to keep it at 224 and keep at 48khz, though sometimes depending on length of movie or if I'm using 2 audio tracks then I'll drop it to 192 and sometimes 44.1khz
anyways....I see a lot of the guides on making svcds seem to show in the example pictures, but not talk about, what setting for the bitrate should optimally be (I know obv the higher the better but for a general good quality average) as they seem in the pictures to be at sometimes 128 or 160???
should I really drop the bitrate to 160 to save that extra space on the disc for the picture without losing any noticable sound loss or should I stick with my 192 and 224s?
cheers
