Hi everbody.
I havn't seen anything on this subject posted before, so I hope I'm not breaking any rules.
I have encoded a few movies with Gordian Knot into Divx5. When playing back these movies, at certain points, the video just freezes, while the audio continues. I never had this freeze frame problem with all my SBC Divx3.11 movies. I noticed it particularly with "Golden Eye", once during the pre-intro action scene, and once about 1/2 way through in the tank scene. I think the encoder is freezing decoding on a keyframe, as if I close the player (doesn't matter which one), and play the movie again (stop - then play doesn't help), I can fast forward to the keyframe immediatly after the bad one, and it works fine. But if the codec gets to the bad keyframe, the player refuses to playback video untill its shut down and started again. None of the D5 playback options make any difference.
Anything else I can try?
