After installing the latest OggDS filters, I noticed that Video file(*.avi;*.wmv) no longer showed in Media files (all types) when Browsing to a file to open (WMP v6.4 or v7).
I can see AVI files only if I select All files. Can't prove it was OggDS that did it, but the conincidence does seem compelling.
Have tried selecting Options, Formats, all formats (incl AVI) in WMP v6.4 but this did not fix.
In Windows Explorer, Tools, Folder Options, File types, AVI is still a registered file type (Video clip).
How does Windows select Media Files (all types) anyway? Can't find relevant Registry key(s).
