I have over a 100 individual vob files from asia, no ifo file, only vobs. I am trying to reduce the size with different softwares.
First, i use Rempeg to process the vob and create a m2v file.
Then i use vobedit to remux the .m2v back to a new vob. It works fine,
but it takes too long because everytime i can only process one at a time.
Then i try to use ccse 2.5 frame serve by dvd2avi. (because it supports batch processing). It only takes 1/3 of the time of Rempeg.
(the .m2v plays fine with Media Player)
But the problem is when i remux the .m2v back to a new vob , all the files have problem ( i tried like 10 vobs already).
Some of them stops in the middle and most of them plays fine in the beginning and then after 4-5 min the audio does not sync anymore.
My question is : why the same VOB processed by rempeg works and ccse does not.
I tried a lot of different settings in ccse but still can't make it to sync.
My setting in ccse is :
video only , no audio
one pass vbr / mpeg2
Q: 60 Min : 0 Max: 5000
Under Video :
add sequence end code
Upper field first
Linear quantizer scale
Zigzag scanning order
Dvd compliant
Aspect ration 16:9
Time code tried both 01:00:00:00 and 00:00:00:00
Gop :
tried both m=3 n/m=4 and m=3 n/m=5
tried both close all Gops and no close all gops
Quality setting is 20
Anyone has any quick idea of what have i done wrong ?
