speed of dvd2avi compared to gknot?

hi I don't read thia forum very regular but i did several searches on this subject but couldn't find an answer.( or i was too stupid :D ).

When using dvd2avi for the whole video conversion process is it faster as the gknot method and if yes are there other disadvantages?

Bit faster, but a bit is enought :) (less process, less time)

When the proyect save-oe or dvd2avi_nic bring us a beta you would see the difference, I personally test :o the pre-beta of Nic and the advantages are good and faster!

But GK is REALLY a usefull program to calculate resolutions, sizes, overheads, bring statics, etc.

I think on them as a Combo.
