Premiere Video Server to CCE crashes CCE

I did a search here and on videotools.net and couldn't find something to answer this question. I have a video done in Premiere and wanted to serve it over to CCE 2.5. I followed the instructions on the site and when I hit encode in CCE it asked to save something (I had already set up the .ipc file correctly). I made a dummy file name and clicked OK, it went on to making the .vaf file. I had set it up for 3 pass vbr, and when it got done creating the .vaf file it told me that something had changed. I was confused, clicked out of the errors, and tried it again. Again, after setting up the correct settings I hit encode (without multipass this time) and CCE came up for a second and a message appeared that it had an error and stopped (CCE crashed). I rebooted and the same thing happened. I use CCE 2.5 with DVD2SVCD for creating svcd's from my anime divx files, so I know CCE works, but I'm confused and would like to be able to use CCE for video serving. I hope this makes sense.
