does gknot use Nandub at all (if configured according to the gknot divx guide) ?
It seems to do it all with Virtualdub...
if nandub isnt used, then is the first pass done within the codec?

thanx

First and second passes are both done with VirtualDub as well as appending credits to main movie portion.

NanDub is used for audio-video muxing since VirtualDub cannot handle VBR mp3 audio file properly. VDub will rewrite the audio header with CBR values during processing for compatibility, but it will introduce skew from video stream. That will cause out-of-synch problem.

Hi,,,

llemor, are you sure?

In my Gordian log, I did find this entry:

-------------------------
VirtualDub.audio.SetSource("F:\\salida_otra_cara_crimen\\otra_cara_crimen AC3 T01 3_2ch 448Kbps DELAY 0ms.mp3");
-------------------------

Looks like Gordian is using VirtualDub to add the audio in the movie!!!!

I used to multiplexing the sound/video by hand (using Nandub) becouse I allways saw this in Gordian Knot log.

Cheerio!

Hi,

Yes, sure. ;)

What you see on log file is correct. Both VDub and NanDub used one scripting language - object VirtualDub is also used in NanDub. ;)
