i'm using VirtualDub to framserve a divx ntsc film (23.97) source to CEE for SVCD encoding. all works fine and really fast unless when i play the video file i get (mpv) in e.g. WMP, the play time is shorter than the divx source. when i post process the mpv file with pulldown to achieve a 29.97 fps mpv file, the play time approaches more or less the divx play time (plus minus a sec or so).
where i'm getting at is, that the extracted audio wav from the divx (via VD) will not add up to the CCE mpv video file and therefore i get a sync problem. where do i do wrong?
when i use TMPGEnc for the whole process, the result is perfectly synced but it takes more than twice as long.
thanks for any input
