I´ve tried to use dvd2svcd (with CCE) and everything went good, but the sound is like Mickey Mouse.
I´m recording .pva files with a hauppage card and I´ve this problem with the sound only when I´m using dvd2svcd. When I use tempenc, (without dvd2svcd)everything is ok...
Any hints would be apreciated very much !!!

What type of audio are we talking about here? Is it AC3, MPA or something else?

I´m recording with WinDVBlive 2000 SW in a pva file, so there must be a mpa audio ?!

I´m using 2.10, the newer ones are not running with dvd2svcd.

I also tried this, but dvd2svcd always produces a encoded_audio file which is the half size of the originally extracted_audio file. And when I´m playing this file it sounds like "mickey mouse"...and when I´m not converting audio (using the source audio) at all, I get a svcd with no sound ...

Hi there,

by any chance, could it be possible that your audio stream is mono? Reason I ask is because we had a few posts dealing with a doubled audio speed and DSPguru always pointed out that BeSweet will not correctly convert mono audio streams - so you will end up with that "Mickey Mouse" effect.

Great !!!!
This was the mistake, I recorded a short sequence and it was in mono, after recording a stereo one, it was perfect on a svcd !!!

uploaded a new plugin (http://dspguru.notrace.dk/effects.html) to do a on-the-fly conversion from mono to stereo.

to use it :
1. download Mono2Stereo archive.
2. extract it to the BeSweet folder.
3. add this suffix to your commandline :
-plugin( -name BS_M2S.dll -func Simple )
