The Cinemaster 2000 Player does NOT work, BUT installing the packet anyway leads to Preview under Maestro e.g.
You can install another SoftDVDplayer for DVD playback ontop of that (e.g. WinDVD4.0).
That's the way I do.
NT4SP6a; Win2K is better, Cinemaster 2000 works here.

'scuse me for tacking onto this post, but maybe someone can give a little insight here. I have been trying to get the real time preview functionality in Maestro to work for some time now. I've heard many different reports that people have cinemaster 2000, or 99, or the CM codecs working for them.
Well, I looked at their site, and I didn't see 2000, but they are selling 99. I figured that the codecs pack would be enough, and I bought it (http://sonic.com/products/player/dvdmp3bundle.htm) (14.95, I believe). Unfortunately, it didn't work for me.
Can anyone give me some pointers? Anyone having luck with the Codec pack and Maestro?
Here's my setup:
Athlon 900MHz
Win XP Pro
Maestro V2.9
CineMaster DVD Decoder Pack for Windows XP
Also, does anyone know where Maestro is looking for the codecs? I would assume /WINNT/system32, but I've been wrong before ..
Thanks for any help you might provide ...

maestro is looking for the codecs in 'directshow', and currently there is no software preview for maestro in XP. (and no idea if the hardware will work either, seeing as maestro is NT4/2000 only

Hi,
I have Maestro working without any problems under WinXp as I'm sure many other people do. I also have software preview after installing the cinemaster 2000 drivers.
Cheers
