Hi,
I have a video file ripped from dvd that I can't get to play on my settop. I first tried demuxing using smartripper and then authoring using spruceup. Wouldn't play. I thought it might be the media so I burned another one. Still no good. I then ripped to vob and used movie-only in ifoedit. Still won't play. This is not the first time I have done this so it isn't beginner's troubles (although I am by no means an expert!). In fact this is a tv episode (number 12!) and all the others are OK. It almost seems that there is actually something in the video stream that the player doesn't like (although the dvd itself will play OK). Am I missing something simple? Anybody have any ideas before I waste any more disks! Not sure where to look next.
