I"ve done a lot of encodings with D2S andI"d never had synch problems. I always use the default settings.
The Story:
On Satarday i made the "Moulin-Rouge" (PAL), the .mpg files play fine with WinDVD or MS player but on my Stand alone DVD player the sound is faster than the video!!
I was wondering what was going wrong. I have a cheap DVD SEG 2210s and TV set, no Dolby soround system and i always encode the audio with 120Kb/s. On "Moulin-Rouge" i changed my mind and set the audio to 192Kb/s just for future use...
That"s the only parameter i change to D2S. Sounds crazy...is it possible to cause this asynch problems??....
I start the recovery proccess, on Audio Enconding i set it back to 128Kb/s and start over the whole enconding...
What a surprise!, the movie now is perfectly synch on my DVD player!!
I want the opinion of some experts e.g Markmb, Bach, Mozart...etc..
and anyone who have a/v synch problem with the DVD player, to decrease the audio stream bitrate and post the results...
