My first post here :)

Anyway.. ..wanted to make an own rip of the great movie The Matrix..

..everything seems to be fine, I make a 2 CD rip with ac3 sound.

But when i check to movie i see that almost all the action sceenes are played many times.. ..the movie goes you see a kick, then the movie jumps back and you see the same kick again.

I go back and check the vfapi file (which is a link to the vob files) and i see that the same error here.

I draw the conclusion that Smartripper has failed to ripp my DVD correctly, so i take ut my DVD and make it as clean as possible, then i watch at it, it's a little bit scratcy, but not so very bad..

..my questions are:..ok, maybe the DVD is sucki sucki, but why does all the "same sceene twice problems" occur in the action sceenes? Has anyone else had the same problem??? have you came to any solution??

you have to use smartripper in movie mode if you dont use an encoder with ifo parsing.
otherwise the complete vobs are ripped, and in case of the matrix they contain some special features inbetween the movie (dvd players skip these scenes).

that does not mean that the vobs only contain the movie...
