I have recently down loaded the DVD2SVCD program and guide. Following the guide I have attempted my first rip. Every thing seems to be fine except that the kb/sec on the log is between 33/34 kb/sec. The Guide shows 4987 kb/sec as a guide. I let the program run for 24 hours and not even th 1st chapter had been ripped.
I've gone over the guide to double and tripple check but I can't see any mistakes on my part. Any Ideas?
The system I am running is a XP 1700 with 512 DDR Ram and Windows XP.

I have tripple checked both the items mentioned in reply
Madmuppet 1. the program is set to internal ripping

Markrb 2. the program was set to automatic on the force aspi I changed this to 'on' but it still rips at 34 kb/sec.
I checked the Q & A but couldn't find anything relating to the installation of the program, Is it included in the DVD2SVCD download?

Chainsaw135 3. Man i am so not patient just a bit IT challeged.

Have you got it set to internal ripping routines?

Did you install the force aspi drivers that are linked in the Q + A?
