Hi! I'm sorry, but I don't have the log file available. I'm just posting in hope that someone knows what I'm talking about and is able to help.
Sometimes, for testing pourposes, I try making a one-cd X(S)VCD from an avi/divx file, or from a DVD, using CCE 3-pass VBR and selecting the suitable bitrate (for example 500min/1000avg/1500max) as calculated in the bitrate tab.
Now, for some reason, when in ?2VCD mode, it always creates two vcd images, the second one only about 30 MB large. MPEG-1 problems with VBR, maybe?
In ?2SVCD, it creates only one vcd image. Still, my standalone player only plays VCD, so I have to fool it by single-multiplexing it to MPEG-1 VCD in TMPGenc.
That leaves me with another problem: the single-multiplexed file is over 1 GB large, in MPEG-1 VCD compliant mode, and in non-compliant mode it's the right size, but when I burn it it has A/V synch problems!! arrrgh
SO: any suggestions on making a one-cd XVCD or XSVCD with a VCD header? THANKS IN ADVANCE!
