Hi.
I'm trying to rip the german version of "The Big Lebowski". The DVD is authored in a very strange way (even has those Spruce Tech Stillframes in VIDEO_TS.VOB ;-)
The problem is that i can't rip the menu for 4:3/16:9 selection. But first some facts about the structure.
It has 3 Title Sets:
VTS_01 is the 4:3 Version
VTS_02 is the 16:9 Version
VTS_03 is a trailer played when inserting the disk (want to keep that one)
The menu structure is a bit confusing.
All Menus are in VTS_01_0.VOB and have 1 Language Unit: "English" although there are also the german ones in it. In VTS_02 there aren't menus, this Titleset is also accessed by the menus in VTS_01.
And now the problem:
If I keep only the VOB-IDs for the German 16:9 Version (thats what I want to do) only the Trailer runs and playback is stopped after that.
If I view the stripped IFO there is no VOB-ID 1, thats a little bit strange to me, because normally they should be numbered from the beginning. It starts with VOB-ID 2 for the menu that should appear if everything worked.
If I keep the menu for AR selection which in fact is VOB-ID 1+2 and then select the appropriate selections (German,16:9) everything works ok.
Thanx in advance for your help.
