I ripped my movie with dvd decrypter, then I stripped the vob's with IfoEdit, i took off extra audio, and subtitles, even the main menu, i just wanted the main movie, but it still having the same 5.3gb as it was in the beginning

yea, the largest files are the main movie, stripping usually removes maybe a gig or so if there are many extras. use reMPEG to encode down so it will fit on a DVD5, see the guides on this site for instructions.

Many times you'll find it doesn't change much. Even a full 6 channel Dolby Digital audio file @ 448kbps from a 2hr movie only takes up about 450MB. The 2 channel 192kbps(as most additional tracks are recorded at) files will take up even less space! When compared to the video (usually averaging around 6Mbps) and the extras on the disc, stripping a few audio files and subtitles hardly makes a dent.

Zamna,
I know I rattle on about Transcoding DVD's (that is probably because it takes me so long on my PIII 650 - about 24 hours just to convert to m2v!!), but have you considered putting it onto 2 x DVD5's using IFOEDIT. Have a look at http://mpucoder.kewlhair.com/derrow/copy.html That will give you a few options of what to do. To Transcode or not to Transcode, that is the question. for a good transcoding guide try www.doom9.org/mpg/rempeg2-dvd.htm Good luck & happy ripping.
